Senior QA Automation Engineer
Position Description:
Looking for a self-starting, highly motivated and highly technical Automation Engineer to help develop and extend Newmarket International’s GUI and non GUI based test automation. Candidate must be able to take on large-scale projects from start to finish, without requiring close management supervision. Candidate will need to be effective either working alone or as part of a highly dynamic team by being able to adapt to priority changes. Candidate needs to have a pragmatic approach to automation development, recognizing the need to deliver within the date, scope and quality expectations.
Experience Requirements:
- 5+ years of QA testing methods and best practices, especially as they apply to test automation
- 4+ years of in-depth experience developing test automation for business objects and entities independent of any available user interface
- Significant experience developing test automation for large enterprise class applications using C#
- 3+ years real world experience with Microsoft SQL Server, developing data drive test automation
- Visual Studio 2008 / Team Test
- UML Design & Patterns: Experience working with detailed UML technical design from business design requirements to effectively develop automation, producing high levels of test coverage as well as test traceability.
Other Experience:
- Experience working with Enterprise Architect 7.0 or higher is a plus
- Experience working with Visual Studio 2010 and the Coded UI Tool a plus
